The department of Orthopedics at Marien Hospital (MH) diagnoses and treats every form of pediatric and adult disease of the musculoskeletal system. The department has an outstanding reputation based on its highly qualified, specialized medical staff and scientific knowledge of every aspect of orthopedics. Patients are treated by caring, skilled practitioners with many years of experience in sub-specialties of orthopedics.

The professorship in Orthopedics unites research and training at Marien Hospital. Generally, orthopedic inpatients are admitted to the Bad Bramstedt Clinic and Altona Children’s Hospital, while outpatients are attended to at two locations – Marien Hospital and the Bad Bramstedt Clinic.
